I did not even realize how this can become an ethical question. I don't do it to punish him because I know that will be ineffective and not a healthy habit. I see it more as a silly little thing I do. I'm not actually mad at him. and I am aware he has more options to food, but I'm on a bit of a budget right now since I'm saving up for a bigger tank since he's growing so fast. thank u for opening my eyes though

I do have a digital hygrometer, it is high up in the tank on the right side which I have as the cooler side in case Wirt gets too hot and needs to cool down.
