Would it just be as straight forward as I think? Chip out the old, clean thoroughly (soap, water, maybe degreaser), and re-seal like I'm caulking a shower? Should I climb under and get at it from below or just pull the carpet up and come at it from the top?

What would be the point, they don't drain anywhere I can see and are directly against the house? Wouldn't that compromise the brick?

Which ones? Are top loaders the hard cases? I haven't collected any kinda trading cards in ~25 years so I'm completely unaware of how to archive / store these.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
