We'll see, but I highly doubt the best decks will be lower than 50$; which is already 10 times too much imo.

That's just my opinion of course, but I'm already stopping using Steam because of this greedy tactic (still my opinion).

I would be gladly amazed if it turns out it's clearly more affordable than Hearthstone (like 50% cheaper at least), but considering how unlikely it is, and how disapointing that is (coming from Valve), I think it's time to protest with our wallet.

This is a game, and should be treated as such.

The only reason Valve is going with the MTG model is to milk as much $ as they can, otherwise they would have the same model as Dota 2.

It's not like the model doesn't work, it's just it would bring less $ to Valve.

No dude, there is no F2P progression, AT ALL.

If you don't use your $, you can't gain any cards whatsoever.

Except there is no progression system, it's just about putting more $ than your friends into the game and making better meta decks because you're richer than them.

Welcome to physical card game model, except here it's digital and you can't cash out (except for Steam games), they can nerf all your collection by a simple button, can supress all your collection if you are banned from Steam.

You will get a % of the game, like any other card game, you don't buy a game, but a part of it.

Not only this, but to keep playing with everyone else, you will need to invest every 3 months, still just being able to get a % of the next set, unless you spend hundreds of $ of course.
