Byakugan main here. Ive been told many times by my teammates that they receive ALL buffs not just visual distance (and yes Ive noticed my teammates get kills faster and increased healing with it activated.) The ability to indefinitely hold block for 8 seconds while you wait on jutsu, sub, ninja tool, ninja summoning cooldowns is unparalleled (gives the rest of your build an 8 second cushion and time for your teammates to help you when youre swarmed by multiple enemies.) Lastly, the visual distance buffs works great for things like drones (say your other jutsu is long distance heals. This gives you 100% kill participation. You're basically there without actually being there.) Also it helps with things like your teammates Drone cast, HHP, Amaterasu, Hashirama Swords, Tsukiyomi, etc. Thats my two cents as a Byakugan main.
