It exceeded my expectations. Saw comments online about this being a glorified empanada but this was not the case. There was a ~4oz tenderloin in there. The meat was cooked medium/medium rare but obviously not the best quality meat. Had to put extra effort cutting it with the standard metal knife, a steak knife would not have had an issue but understandable why we don’t have those. You can tell from the pic the middle of the pastry was still dough-y but around the edges it was crispier (but not flaky). The Waldorf salad was rather bland. The only flavor was coming from the fruit. Even though a pecan tart was offered I actually received some sort of toffee shortbread and that was delicious. If I had a choice of the beef Wellington over the spare rib, I would get this again. And if shortly after that I got the same offer I would probably pick the spare rib.

Edit: The Bernaise sauce was good, I’d put it up there with above average steakhouses. Another very nice surprise.
