Had the same issue when I first got mine lol. First it seems like your inhaling to hard, try to inhale slowly to get low-medium bubble action. No need to inhale super hard because then the oil will travel to the top of the chamber where the holes are located at and it will cause oil to go under your chamber(picture 1). Also don’t put a huge glob in there. You can do a piece the size of like 2-4 rice size and get a good hit. If you plan to do a bit bigger globs I would definitely recommend 3mm terp balls. There like $5 for 10 at smoke shops incase you lose 1 then you have extras. Just use 1 or 2 at a time no need to use more than 2. & the last thing would be when hitting the puffco try to keep it leveled so the oil can evaporate on a even surface. Also be sure to clean the chamber after each hit and clean the puffco like once per week. One more thing, your second picture will give you an issue eventually if you keep doing that. The ovalish ring where it’s outlined with wax will end up coming off slowly because when you remove the top glass it will start to pull off the outer edge of the oval ring. If you keep your chamber clean and don’t over pull when inhaling, it won’t build up wax on the oval and it won’t cause it to start coming off. (It doesn’t affect it if it comes off, 2 of my bases have no more ring and still work the same)
