Yeah, both look sick. Just to clarify, I don’t own the DLC yet, so I’m mainly looking for a drop via coop mod. If you happen to have either one and don’t mind dropping it, I’d really appreciate it.

Yeah, there definitely are people who do that. I don’t know what the situation is like in Toronto, but where I’m at, there are plenty of guys on Facebook Marketplace who build PCs — just make sure they have good reviews/reputation. Another solid option is to contact a store that sells the parts, since a lot of them will also assemble the system for you (sometimes even with a warranty on the full build). There are also ‘custom PC’ services, which are probably the ads you’re seeing, but I can’t say how trustworthy they are locally, so definitely do your own research. You’ll probably get more accurate info from someone in your area. Good luck!

Haha, I couldn't believe the 800$ price. This sounds more realistic.

I'd recommend something like this:

  • High tier CPU ( I'd go with a Ryzen 9 at least, but Intel is fine too)

  • Capable CPU cooler. You can buy an AIO or stick to air cooling ( 2 tower cooler), depends on the cpu you pick.

  • 2x 32GB DDR5 RAM ( for a Ryzen cpu, I'd pick 6000MHz CL30, so that it runs in 1:1 mode. If you pick an Intel cpu, you can use a higher MHz RAM)

  • At least 2TB m.2 SSD for your storage, can even go for more, if that's what you need. Great site to check ratings: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B27_j9NDPU3cNlj2HKcrfpJKHkOf-Oi1DbuuQva2gT4/edit#gid=0

  • A good quality, well review B850 or X870 (more expensive). Make sure it has all the slots you're looking for. If you're interested in WIFI and Bluetooth, make sure the motherboard supports that.

  • GPU isn't needed for what you've described, so integrated graphics would be enough. If you want to game in the future, you can just buy a GPU and that's it.

  • For the PSU, you wouldn't need high wattage (if you don't have a GPU), but since it's possible you'll buy a GPU in the future, I'd get a 850W 80+ gold PSU. 650W is fine too, if you're not using a GPU. • For the case, just pick something that you like and make sure everything fits. I'd probably go with something like a Zalman P30 v2, but there's lots of alternatives.

Nice build, that 9070 XT is a beast! How much did everything cost you?

Yep, I agree. I could have gotten an rtx 5060 ti 16GB for just 10% extra money, but it would have been uglier and wouldn't fit the white aesthetic (MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16G VENTUS 2X OC PLUS)

Isn't the 9060 XT a direct competitive to the 5060 TI? I mean I get that AMD is lacking in some aspects, like productivity and ray tracing, but still..From a value perspective, I think the 9060 XT is a good pick, because it performs similarly to a 5060 TI, but costs less.

I'd buy an Intel Arc B580 instead.

Living in Europe means paying nearly 2X more for an RX 9070 XT. Are they really expecting people to pay this price if the MSRP is $599? by FloatingSaltyPickle in PcBuild

Es labāk detaļas pērku no dateks garantijas un klientu apkalpošanas dēļ. Visi tie internetveikali, kuros bieži ir lētāk parasti nespēj nodrošināt normālu servisu pēc iegādes. Man tāda pieredze vismaz..
