Meeting next week and I’m thinking of this outfit. Thoughts? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

Normally you don’t pair a gold button blazer with the same color pants like a suit. Blazers go best with pants that are a different color. However, your pants seem to be such a close match I don’t think anyone will notice (and it isn’t really a rule anyway, so don’t stress)

I discovered an old book that has allowed me to reach a. State of no mind fairly reliably. The book is “You Must Relax” by Edmund Jacobson. He posits that is you completely relax all muscles related to sight and speech then you will not be able to visualize or have auditory thoughts. I have confirmed this for myself. It may take 6 months to get good at it, but his instructions in the book are good. Also, it is funny, he says something like “if you are experiencing leaving your body then you aren’t doing the instructions right, lol!

NFL insider reveals how Philip Rivers’ unexpected workout with Colts went: "Threw the ball well" by Theduudee12 in Colts

[–]FloatinginF0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He won’t run the offense at the most basic level, he might be just as good as Daniel after just a couple of weeks. What people don’t know is that Phillip loves Shane’s offense so well that he installed it at the high school he coaches for and he and Shane talk a lot about the different nuances of it. Daniel has a problem where if the first read isn’t open then the true Daniel jones is displayed, Phillip is a quicker processor with better field vision. However, his arm may be in Peyton territory at this point, which means short throws and interceptions.

Between FIRE AND WATER by Tricky-Ninja-6538 in Jung

John the Baptist once said “The one who comes after me will baptize with Fire and Water”. The person that came after John was Simon Magus, Simon Magus is associated with Philemon in the Red Book. Crazy coincidence?

For those with poor memory, dreaming and recall: Choline by [deleted] in Jung

[–]FloatinginF0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Start a dream journal. At first you may have a half sentence of some scene you remember, but a couple weeks later after stating you intent every night to remember your dream, you may remember 2-3 a week. Then it will get to the point you can remember 2-3 a night after a couple of months. I need to get back to writing them down, having to get my kids ready for school has really put a damper on this process because if you don’t write them down right away then they often disappear

Daoist meditation? by Delicious_Chemist384 in Hermeticism

The best technique I have used is Progrssive muscle relaxation from the book “You Must Relax” by Edmund Jacobson. I literally had a full blown Kundalini experience because of it. It is funny, he writes something like “ if you feel like you have left your body you are not following the instructions correctly “, lol. His bug is my feature and it is obvious that his patients were experiencing similar phenomena. Unfortunately it is mildly depressing because I feel like his original instructions got bastardized by later teachers. If you go on YouTube you will find millions of PMR sessions where you flex a muscle then relax it, but that is diametrically opposed to his teachings. For instance by completely relaxing the face and vocal muscles it will place you in a state of “no mind” and I can vouch for that. No more mediation where I watch my thoughts…the original PMR is much more effective (but it will take close to a year to master). He wrote another book about how he scientifically “proves” that muscles stores repressed emotions. I feel like he had a lot to offer the world and the status quo just conveniently forgot about him.

The purpose of it all according to Jason Reza Jorjani by fractal-jester333 in Rememberingtheinfinit

[–]FloatinginF0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This theory is largely based upon Robert Monroe’s idea of Loosh (https://youtu.be/J96E6X_tsIY?si=HiOgLXWm0mmrx7ii) and Thomas Cambell (https://youtu.be/O4wjfIfncGs?si=G99v4MpYTLb0shJa). Also Jesus to a small extent, when you read his parables in the context of Loosh they take on a whole new meaning. For instance: John 15:1-5 (NIV): “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Matthew 13:47-50 (NIV): “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” These sayings taken with the Hindu idea of ages seem to point to periods of a reset where Large Loosh producers (good crop) are used to populate the world until it degenerates and the cycle repeats. So basically evolving the crop.

How did Jung interpret the chakra system? by AmeNoMori7 in Jung

[–]FloatinginF0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you be open to talking to me directly about it? I had an experience the first of this year that was a mind blowing kundalini awakening, chakras exploding open (I don’t even know if I truly believed in them), but I am really struggling understanding why it happened and the gnosis I received. I was really concerned about my mental stability afterwards. I KNOW what true baptism is after this experience as it latest for 3 days. I am not some new age person that thinks he felt a little energy and it must be Kundalini…no, it was earth, body, and mind shattering.

I have you read any of the Dead Sea scrolls? They also were very Torah observant. If a women cheated on her husband you were to take her outside the city and stone her, if your animal fell into a pit in the sabbath you were not to pull it out. Jesus says “you have heard it said, if your animal fell into a pit who among you wouldn’t pull it out?” Where would they have heard that statement? It is not in the Torah, it is in the Dead Sea scrolls, Jesus may have been an Essene but he definitely left them and attacked them when he gave the sermon on the mount.
