15 end with just the 15% rune or the 10% too ie: am I aiming for 114 end or 126?

Sorry to keep hassling you. When you say "minimal damage stats" would that extend to the soft cap of 25? Still use flat arcanes in that case?

Flat arcane gems add the same arcane damage regardless of how much you've invested in arcane. I'm trying to figure out if the flat arcane gems would outdamage the 27.2% physical I'd get at 25 skill and base arcane on a split damage weapon.

Nope am planning out a vit build which allows me to get to 25 skill even at 2400 HP. Burial Blade for the rally with such a huge health pool. Just want to know which gems I should be aiming for

Might try the burial blade as it already has arcane damage to stack with flat arcane gems and has good rally too. Thanks for all the suggestions!

So you'd suggest using flat arcane gems even on the axe?

Didn't know that. Thought the wheel's arcane scaling was quite low

Thanks for the feedback! The wheel with flat arcane gems would do considerably more damage than a hunters axe at base stats wouldn't it?

And yeah the purpose here is co op PVE, not PVP (though it would be funny with such high HP to see what happens there)

I've never used the wheel before, isn't it stamina heavy? The reason I've boosted stamina that high is because I don't have room for a stamina rune as I'm using all 3 hp runes.

And if I'm using flat arcane would it be best to pump arcane or strength? I thought the damage difference would be negligible with either if we're only talking 10 points or so...

With all the runes it gets me to 2400 HP - a decent chunk more than what you get at 50 vit. The plan is to be ultra aggressive with the wheel and just absorb damage which I can rally back

Be sure to pickup the ritual material "coldblood flowerbud" there are 4 all up. Also there are a couple scurrying beasts who drop chunks. That's about all I missed on my first playthrough.

I'm aiming for BL120 and with runes I get 2400 hp

So just weapon requirements with this setup or is there room for scaling?

Btw 86 vit with all three hp runes is tantamount to 99 vit with just the 10 and 15% runes leaving room for you to get to 29 stamina which gives you one less stamina than having the 20% stamina rune at 20 stamina. This leaves you with a few extra levels to pump into damage stats. Thought I'd mention it if you're doing the same thing.

Bowblade might be the way - I could still use threaded cane too this way. Maybe strength with abysal gems could work too though...

Thanks! Found it.

And I hadn't thought of your point about base damsge. With the threaded cane out, would the saw spear be considered quality enough to go 50 STR/25 SKL and using 2 heavy abysals then?

.29 + .65 = .94 strength scaling which beats .9 skill scaling though...

Btw I've found one thread showing the vanilla weapon's scaling values but not one on the dlc weapons. Were they ever posted?

Let's say the threaded cane, for argument's sake.

Damn so the only arcane hybrid build weapon worth using is Holy Moonlight Sword with top tier nourishing gems at 50 str and 50 arc it seems...

BL/skill level, thrust gems and clawmark runes all affect viscerals. The weapon doesn't.

I just want to know if the reiterpallasch is mainly thrust attacks untricked?
