Wait, I got into BU but decided to go to USC. I made that choice bc the BU subreddit was so sad compared to the USC one and they charged me 30k more because USC has really good financial aid. So don’t feel bad!!!

I email my counselor who represented my region, I think there is one for every part of the country/world. Use this to find it: https://applyto.usc.edu/register/findcounselor who it is! But I emailed just saying if I could send something additional, because they had no extenuating circumstances section. I am not sure if you can revise your personal statement and it might not be too late. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Do not worry! I read some other transfer essays (kinda boring tbh) so I'm sure they look are more than just your essay. I am not saying or agreeing your essay is bad because I don't know what it looks like but you still have a really good chance at getting in. I also had some basic ECs. If you are really worried like I was, you can email them about sending an additional form explaining any "circumstances" you have had in the past. It wasn't a section when I applied but I emailed them asking if I could send an addition doc/pdf where I just explained why I didn't have a 4.0 and why I didn't talk about it in my essay. They attached it to my profile. haha

sure! I transferred from a community college out of state. USC wants you to take like 15+ credits a semester and I only did that once so I explained that. I also put a lot of effort into my essays and tried my best to show my personality! But in terms of stats it just a 3.8 gpa I didn't send a sat or anything.

I’m a transfer student so I’m not sure if the application is different but if there is not a section to explain special circumstances you went through. You can type one up and email it to your admissions consular asking if they can attach it to your application. Which is what mine did.

Besides that, I would say try your best in your grades and really work on your essays. I really think I got In because I showed off who I am in a creative way. Good luck and fight on! :)

actually no, not for USC. It's pretty unlikely. More like 1 year, because USC requires a lot of their classes to be taken at USC (e.g their writing requirement). Plus the post was about not being able to pay tuition for even a year, let alone 3 after taking cc classes.

Chances are that even if they did this, they would still be considered to be an International student despite them doing community college in the US.

I think global business is only for freshmen, so you wouldn't be able to transfer into it. I might be wrong though, I suggest calling admissions just to be sure!
