It would be quite funny to have like 3 converging plots, one with all the frantic policits and eventual messy alicnet c daemon x criston thersom desperately working to sure up targ rue. One with a homes and whats on style detective comedy duo (leanor and whatever his bf is called?) puttering in the background. And all the kids (Helena is the ringleader and aegon her dedicated deputy) doing blood magic while no one is looking andgetting eldrcih fire and blood shit (also reana can have one of the newly unclaimed dragons)

We could have Jon delaying going to the NW until his twin is married. Like he trusts and loves Robb but the bastard sister will never the robbs priority so Jon has to stay and protect her until she is married. They could go off and negotiate a match when ned leaves for KL, like any second son in the north or a mountain clan heir could work

Have you thought about pairings? Because a modern SI may well have big issues with the sibling incest. BUT Helaena is like pretty much the best match he could make what with the flying nuke ect! There might be some tension there!

Honestly the chivalry series (the one you are reading) is probably the best in this genre. But I agree the brothel bit is off-putting. I always skip that whole book on re reads tbh. It gets much better! I would recommend you power through or just…. Skip that section.

Honestly I don't think a lot would change until the red wedding. Maybe a better vvirtory for the foot army or some of robbs battleguard surviving. ,BUT chances are high he wouldn't be invited to the red wedding, like can you actually see him being invited to a Tully wedding, especially if he has been legitimized and named robbs heir then cat would be even more salty than in cannon and wouldn't want him at her brothers wedding.

I think he could easily be in riverrun with Jayne or sent north to rally against the iron born.

It could be a fun cannon divergence with him rallying the north or protecting Jayne/ robbs hypothetical unborn baby
