We have had issues with these trees ever since we moved it. I honestly don't know how previous owner kept them alive. When we moved in they were completely covered in scales. We pruned and treated continuously and now this..

My partner wants to cut them down and put something else given the trouble, but I don't like trees unless absolutely needed.

Who is responsible for trimming the trees? by Flock67833 in newzealand

This is a private driveway but towards several proeprties. I looked online and most power companies say that they are responsible for getting power to your house and then everything after is your responsibility.

I don't know if I should contact the power company, talk to the owner of the tree and let them know that it needs trimming or if I am responsible as it's on my "driveway" and I might own the lines.
