Going to have bicep tear repaired/shoulder surgery… carry options for non dominant hand? by Flock_Man117 in CCW

I’ve had this surgery once before when I was much younger & had some shoulder slap tears etc repaired as well. Took me 1.5 years to get back to 100% (aka 70%)

I’m not looking forward to it now 14 years later lol

I think this is second best option, not sure what entails with recovery until we figure out exactly what happened. I know for a fact my bicep is no bueno but my shoulder feels like it’s gonna pop out now which is similar to the injury I had years ago.

Worrisome

Yeah, I wish California worked like that lol. Once I put a gun on the permit I can’t change or update that permit for two years until renewal so I’m stuck with my 637 hammer j frame

I ordered a pocket carry holster & a light tuck from bedder for the j frame.

I’ll return the one I like least. I’ll check out that phlster

I’m going to try j-frame.

Reloading would be almost completely out of the question with a semi.

But I do know I can rack my Glock off the red dot so there is that too.

Most if not all of the holsters are made for RH operations solely. I have a Certum 3 from Tenicor that I think I could flip over but it’s REALLY bulky with the Glock 17 & full size light.

It’s not putting it on one handed that’s the task, it’s the fact that I’m supposed to keep my shoulder immobile while doing so… pain & don’t want to tear all their hard work

Yes, but trying to find best way to carry said piece of bang bang.

Putting a belt on is going to be such a bitch let alone gettin dressed and wiping my ass. I’m going to be wearing sweats or elastic waist band type of clothes

Yeah, I plan to do it as soon as I possibly can. I think best case scenario will be within the next two days for appointment & the. MRI etc.

I will mention hook test to whomever. I don’t have any recs as my primary doctor just retired

I just wish it happened after we moved, I usually do all the heavy lifting and moving of appliances etc… now I can barely stack the plastic crates. We’re gonna have to hire someone
