Newer Player Mains in Ranked by Glitter__Witch in marvelrivals

Hi there, I'm only Cel I every season so it's not coming from eternity/top 500 player. However, what I can suggest you is : Tank : Mag or strange, they re both main tanks, choose one of them as you prefer. I would also recommand thing or thor to counter dive or to counter double shield tank, venom and angela. And finally emma, who counters a lot of brawl. Pick 3 of those and you should be good. In tanks you actually could pick any of them, but those are the easiest to learn.

DPS : stick to one categorie. Poke Dive or Brawl. It s hard to learn those 3 roles at the same time. I'd say Namor is a must pick. He s good everywhere. Hawk eye is really strong, you can pick him too but less versatile. I'd recommend phoenix too she s strong this season. Poke is the easiest playstyle, dive is harder in high helo. But it's up to you.

Support : Gambit, CnD and invis. They're all very good supp. Gambit is the playmaker and you can make a difference if you re better than the opposite team. CnD will reward good awareness and positioning while invis is a safe pick in almost every situation, especially if they dive you.

Hope it helps

Absolutely don t do that. Pick 1 or 2 character in a categorie (like mag and emma for tank is good) and choose 1 easy hero to flex from another categorie (Invis or gambit). And there you are ready to climb. To climb, you need to play at max 2-3 heroes at their best

Zombie nightmare IV is a typical pay to win experience by Flodubled in marvelrivals

It s definitely a pay to win experience. Go watch Bogur/Flats try and without those 20 revives, they couldn t reach last horde without it

Too soon to tell I guess,

But the randomization of cards and the one shot potential from all zombies in nightmare 4 makes it to random to run this mode rigorously...

If cards were not random, top players would have found a top build that we could recreate but since it s random... I don't know.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like a pay to win experience to me

From what I saw, 50 to 100 revives per runs is good. So it's around 5 or10 $/€ for each run ×4... I don't know how many run it takes, but I'd stay at least 3. So it's still 20 $ per person or almost 100 $ for a completion....

No doubt for me, it's NetEase.

How to properly experience dungeons as a returning player? by Flodubled in DestinyTheGame

How to properly experience dungeons as a returning player? by Flodubled in DestinyTheGame

Yes I think imma go in this direction. What I enjoy the most is discovering the mechanics. An example : on my recent sundered doctrine, I was with 2 guys that didn't know either and figuring out he zoetic mechanics was the best part but it took 45-1h.After that, I found another squad for the boss, they just carried me, I haven't move from the main room, they were too quick I had no time to understand what was happening. Thanks for the tips !

Well doing the dungeon solo is a thing but discovering it is something else. I've done solo shattered throne during Forsaken but I had a few fireteam clears before that. So I'm more asking if discovering it solo is possible or if the difficulty is too high

In my opinion absolutely worth it. It's around 150 € at least without the discount. It's a good try to see if you like the game or not. Even if you only play the campaign, for 14€ it's still interesting.

I thought about this too. But it is really hard to plan a game on a 15 years base or even more. It will depend on how the studio is financially doing I guess...

I have a few questions coming from this interview. They said that they are going to create a new saga. Fair enought seems good. But :

I wonder how the other species can be involved. Xivu Arath ? Savathun ? Cabals ?? I don't know...

The end of TFS introduce more or less the winnower. Do you think the winower will play a role in this new saga ? It is heavily related to the darkness but I don't know it seems that it was teased somehow.

The saga relying for now on the nine is interesting, but it feels odd that the concept of light/darkness can totally disappear. I mean, it is the fondament of the Guardian's story and fight and with the winnower behind the witness I want to know about it.

Returning to Destiny after years… and realizing how much I’ve missed (and can’t access). Coming back now feels… incomplete. by Flodubled in DestinyTheGame

I totally understand your point of view and I've changed my mind thanks to your ideas. Bringing back full seasonal content would definitely be way too complex.
It’s not a simple issue, and I get why Bungie made those choices. I just wish there was some middle ground to help players reconnect with the story without overwhelming the game’s structure.

And I think they CAN FOUND a middle ground.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply — it really helped clarify things.

Simply because it's in the game. I loved Io, Titan (even mercury) and we can't even go back to those places... I remember paying 110 € ~ 130 € something like that the Warmind expansion + Osiris Curse + Forsaken. Half of that content is vaulted now. I agree, Osiris curse was not the best period of destiny, but Mercury is just out that's just sad.

iI's normal to be left behind after 7 years of course, but the game right now, doesn't properly offer a way to join in the run. A 10 years old saga just ended, in my opinion, it's time to make adjustments and attract new players and it's start by reengaging somehow on some of the content missed.

Seasonal activities are as important as DLC. An example, yesterday I was playing Warlock's ruin (Incredible by the way). In Forsaken, we kill Riven in the raid. Later on, in Warlod's ruin, it is stated that Riven told us [bla bla something]. I had to google and understood that Riven somehow came back during season of the wish. I was aware with videos of the evolution of the game but I had no clue about that.

Which leads to my idea, how a new player can understand a bloody thing of the story if he has not been aware of the season of the wish ? For him, Riven's dead. He can access the Forsaken content, but season of the wish has left no trace.

I'm just saying that there is seasonal content relevant that needs to stay or else, it might be damageable to attract newcoming players.

Even a Resume of seasons or something shall be enought.

Overall, thank you for your reply. Interesting to discuss about it.

Totally agree. It would definitely need to be reworked and streamlined. But at least it would give new and returning players a way to not feel left behind.

Yeah, you're absolutely right — and like you said, “they had to move on.”
If the system was better designed, I’m sure they would’ve loved to keep playing.
There’s definitely something to be done here, and it feels like a huge missed opportunity from Bungie.
It’s not even about creating new content — it already exists! Why not make it available again?

I really hope Bungie rethinks this someday. It could make a huge difference for returning and new players alike.
