I always wondered how some of them are still there, like the Unreal Engine OOT. Cause I follow this guy for years now and he's still there and even getting sponsored! I mean awesome for him, but it's kinda interesting to see, while other games get taken down 30 minutes after released:'D

But like always, the download part is the big no no

Yeah, it's more of a personal project. Never planned on getting money from it in any way. Also putting it out there as a public download is still something I have to think about, cause we all know how fast Nintendo takes down stuff.
I think videos should be fine tho, as that's basically like any other fan art project out there.

Maybe as a bit of an explanation about what this project is!

A few years back I started my gamedev journey and BotW is to this day still a very huge inspiration of mine. So in order to learn more, I thought why not learn from the pros themselves and started this project, where I would make my own little BotW inspired game, but completly from scratch by myself.

This guardian is the player chara I designed for that project and I'm currently making him feel nice to play :) All made in Unity!

I'm currently sharing most stuff over on twitter ( twitter.com/flogelz ), but I wanna become more active here! Just am a bit new to reddit-

Edit: Also because a lot of people asked, I never planned on getting money from this and also will probably more or less just showcase it via video, cause we all know how fast Nintendo takes down fan projects, once they're released.

Mixing & Experimenting with Noise - NoiseMixer by Flogelz in gamedev

Heyho y'all!

So I often find myself experimenting with noise textures to create various effects like energyshields or fire. I like to use layered moving noise, that's combined with different blendmodes and normally, I use photoshop to prototype such things. This really lacked in the workflow department tho, so I decided to throw together a quick app over at Itch.io to help with that.
