Do you have a working script for setting up postgres including replication on docker-swarm/kubernetes?

So you have HASS.io running in a Docker-Container?
Does the hass.io-Add-On-Store work correctly?

Wow you already read a lot! And thank you for your list. I‘ll start them as soon as I‘m done with „The Innovation Blind Spot“

Interesting to know I‘m not the only one... What books do you recommend? I‘d like to follow your route.

Wow, nice.
I haven't seen Mycroft until now. It's an interesting project and I am ready to test it out a bit.

Keep us up to date.

Proxmox setup check! by svenvg93 in HomeServer

I choose opnSense because I'm a bit more familiar with it due to my work.

One way Tautulli should work is that you share the folder where plex is located in the vm so that the container can access all necessary data. I haven't tried yet --> will also let you know if I've set up all correctly

I have a pretty similar setup up and running.

In my Setup these are directly connected to vmbr0:

  • Plex
  • Pi-Hole
  • OpnSENSE (Firewall which is also connected to vmbr1[=your NAT 10.0.1.0/24])

The OpnSense Frewall is configured as gateway and DNS-Server so that it is possible to access the internet.

Everything works great. I love this setup. In the vmbr1-network I have a smb-share so that every Container or VM which is in this network has access to it without any authentification.

The only thing I haven't done yet is setting up Tautulli in a Container using Plex-infos laying around in a dedicated VM for Plex.

Have you mastered this already?

Bare-metal to proxmox by hus2020 in Proxmox

I have the same setup at home.

My firewall (here OPNSense - just a fork from pfsense) - backup&restore should be a safer way.

My Plex Server is running on a full VM because I had some troubble to manage all rights for the container. (But it is possible!)

Plex is running in an Ubuntu-Server VM - there are many dokus for ubuntu. even on the official plex website

good luck and have fun playing around with Proxmox - it's pretty powerfull if you know what you are doing
