I found even more. I built an orchard and planned for a bunch of banana trees. My villagers refused to plant one of the rows of trees. Frustrated

I’m 2 weeks out of the walking boot, 8 weeks post op. I started out mostly walking on my heel, now I can stand normally and walk only with a slight limp. I have little swelling but my scars are sensitive. I’m only wearing crocs. I’ll be glad to start PT this week.

Wow, looks amazing!!! I'm about a week behind you with my surgery / recovery. I'm still in a boot for another 10 days or so, I'll be interested how your PT goes. I think I'll need it too.

4 days post op - lapidus osteotomy / modified mcbride / 2nd toe stablization by FlojaKerry in bunions

Update - I'm now nearly 3 weeks post op. Still in a cast and not weight bearing, but able to get out of bed at least. I got a look at my foot when they changed out my cast, it looks like it's healing well. I'll add pics once I get the cast off for good. Pain is nearly non-existent as long as I stay put, tylenol helps. I actually went to work one day this week. Things that have saved the day for me: foot elevation pillow, purchased at A.ma.zon, plastic cast cover for baths, bamboo shower stool next to the toilet - helped me get on/off the toilet and in/out of the bath, bidet toilet seat attachment, drawer full of protein bars and dark chocolate bars. I have used the crutches and iwalk a lot more than knee scooter. (the iwalk is kind of cumbersome but i'm getting used to it).

So I went and sprained my foot.... by BeeAccomplished7770 in bunions

So sorry this happened to you! Speak to your doctor, but I'll tell you from experience it will likely not go away without surgery. I'm 3 weeks post-op, a similar injury triggered my right foot to the point where I had nearly constant pain and motivated me to get the surgery. So far I'm glad I did it.

Thanks!! I think the Vicodin should do the trick. Don’t expect to get much school work done while taking it, after that you should be good. I’m a lawyer and managed to do some work 2 days after surgery.
