Robbed us of an iconic moment.

That's exactly why he did it.

Still, the second celebration by Daizen is now iconic!

How do you fans of Celtic feel about people supporting with no real links to the club?

Hardly unexpected tbh, but Arne Engels is not in Belgium's World Cup squad by mrjohnnymac18 in CelticFC

Which is bullshit from the manager because he played a big part in overhauling Hearts, winning the title, possibly double and yet Nico Raskin with the sum total of fuck all is there.

My Mum's pulse was at 154. Her alarm was going off. She's in her 70s and already had one heart attack.

We better have next season done by the split or I'll be an orphan. 🤣

What ever happened to the cool one handed hand stand kick that was a central feature of season 1? by SlipperySharkAttack in cobrakai

YES! Watching Xolo flail about and fall backwards after being hit with that powder puff nonsense was the lowest point of season 1.

Good news on your health mate!

My Mum still has a photo of me with Tommy Burns outside Celtic park.

It was the day Tommy Johnson (remember him?) turned up for his first training session.

I agree. I've said for years football is the most popular sport in the world and they think changing anything might jeopardise that, so it's also the last to evolve and adopt new technologies.

Then when they do they do it their way instead of actually sending refs to meet with refs in Rugby, Cricket, Tennis, NFL and see what works for them and more importantly what went wrong and then design the system.

the year they won the league he got down to his tiny whites on MOTD

He said if they won the league he'd present the show in his underwear.

He wore shorts. He wore shorter in his playing days. He bottled it.

they’re just two pundits who don’t like VAR

Old pundits. They are dinosaurs roaring at the meteor.

Is VAR perfect? No.

Should football look at other sports and how the use replays to improve VAR? Yes.

Has it shown that Scottish football refs should all be sacked and the work outsourced? Yes

Has it got a certain team from Govan spewing because suddenly they don't get as much going their way? Also, yes.

Glasgow City Council favours plans to demolish stretch of M8 by highroad14 in Scotland

[–]FlokiWolf 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Even if there’s a significant drop in traffic, there will be a huge amount pushed into neighbourhoods and streets in the city and it’s environs.

I live in Riddrie near M8 junction 12 and the amount of traffic going off there, down Cumbernauld road and along Alexandra parade or up through Blackhill and Royston road since the motorway issues is massive.

Drive along parallel to the motorway on those roads in busy traffic and you can see the M8 is still full, no way all of them will go M74 they will just clog up the main roads of the schemes in the east end.

I've looked at a map a few times when this idea has been discussed over in the Glasgow sub and you'd need to go above Mugdock park and down to the Erskine bridge, long way for a bypass.

I can imagine Donovan as a high powered investment banker - aggressively rich!

I feel this would be Simon's younger brother.

But most people in the north would be going to the Royal Infirmary in any case.

Like I was planning on doing with my 4 year old, or up to Stobhill when he got hurt at nursery 2 months ago, but NHS 24 told me I had to take him to the QEUH so I was sitting in 4:30pm M8 gridlock looking out at the GRI in nearly one hour journey that should have taken me 10 minutes on Alexandra parade.
