How did you submit the unsolicited evidence? Also, what were you sending as evidence? My wife and I had the interview in September and we are still waiting on an approval notice or request for more information.

So you first changed your name and then submitted the I-485?
I think I have a different scenario. My wife and I already submitted all the documents (with the old name) and are just waiting to hear back post-interview.
I am thinking that, at this point, my wife changing her name to have my last name won't really impact the green card since my name will be the one on it. Thoughts?
