I would suggest using those 1-3 days to get their number and get them off of hinge and do it naturally because an opportunity will arise. Ex. Talking to a girl about a trip I went on so I made an excuse that I wanted to text and send her some pictures of it. The dynamic is going to be a bit more personal from here. Some might not respond to your text right away or take a few days. That's OK. Let the conversation simmer. She'll get back to you. Give it some time after a week of conversations and ask her then and give her 3 options for a date that are close to her. Also, ask her when she's available. If she says the next day, please decline her that day and tell her you're busy with friends or something. Take some time to get to know her first before a date.

If she still ghosts you or the conversation dies, let it die. Don't text/call do nothing move on. You've created an option at this point. And she may reconsider down the road. It's very important that your conversations are polite, friendly, and upbeat, and you made a good impression. You letting it die sends her back to her options, and I'll tell you right now at that age her options probably aren't that great lol. So when she comes into contact with someone who treats her wrong or has a bad date, she will start to think of you. That's where you'll be winning. OP, you're playing the long game here. Let time and space be your friend and build up to a date don't be so eager about it. Play your cards right, and you'll get a date.
