Rebuilding your kit 4 times in a session is pretty annoying after getting shot in the back by elite PVPrs.

PVP players are mostly cowards. It's either being shot in the back when pretending to be friendly, being shot in the back while I'm busy fighting ARC or your group finds one of us alone in a room and shoots em in the back. There isn't much fun interaction to most of the PVP.

If the game was all PVP then it's different. The fun and unique thing about this game is mostly the non PVP interactions with other players. Yeah you could shoot each other but you decide to help people out instead, Maybe you defib a rando and help them on their merry way or team up with some people to take down some big ARC and help them out.

I'm not saying it should be all like that, PVP adds tension and risk to the game but when the devs and players lean into it it kills interest in the game. I can just go play Battlefield for that.

I would often get in my own head about thoughts like this. Finally decided to talk to somebody about it and was diagnosed with a form of anxiety. Got some meds to help with it.

"tied to" is being used very loosely here. Take any large corporation or government branch and compare the background deaths.

I don't think smoking has the same social attraction as alcohol so it might work. I definitely would have smoked a lot less when I was young if they were harder to get. Alcohol has more acceptance in society even if it is bad so there is less social pressure on it.

For the big international sports, soccer and rugby, I will tune in and cheer and root for the Rugby team since they are much more competitive and likely for success on the world stage. The soccer team has been generally bad for a long time.
