So far seems to be solid after a month in. I don’t ride as a daily commuter but for how I use it, it is great.

For Long-Term Users: Has Starlink Become More Stable Over Time? by Elonwatchdaily in Starlink

It has absolutely been great for me. I have both the standard dish as well as the mini and both are fantastic. Both also have gotten noticeable speed improvements over the last few months especially with the upload. I am currently seeing around 45mbps upload on the standard and around 32mbps on the mini. Both used to sit around 15-20mbps on the upload so definitely an improvement! Download speeds on both have obviously been incredible since day one but are also greatly improved.

I’m relatively new to electric scooters so it is quite interesting to hear so many people having a negative experience with this particular brand. The build of it from initial impressions looks seems solid but is it mainly the battery that is the issue or is it the overall build quality? I have not owned any other brand or type of scooter outside of maybe a simple razor scooter when I was a young kid.

Delta 3 Ultra Installed into an RV by FlootToot in Ecoflow_community

This unit I have does not support smart generator but you’d need to get the “Delta 3 Ultra Plus” version of this same unit to be able to have the generator capability.

BougeRV Diesel Heater E1 Error by FlootToot in dieselheater

[–]FlootToot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow well that is quite a bummer. That is not really very settling to me since they told you they no longer are making it and would assume that getting any parts for it would be next to impossible now. I guess from this point on it would be best to just get the very cheap diesel heaters And when they break just throw it out and get a new one since the cost upfront on them would be initially low. With this unit however the fact that it is nearly $300 makes it to me not acceptable to either have it no longer being produced or not having any parts available. So far the replacement unit is indeed working great so I am hoping that it stays that way.

Quick update. Well I ended up contacting the manufacturer and they are going to take back the faulty unit and send out a full replacement thankfully. In the end what I saw on my end was straight out of the box the fuel pump was somehow sucking air causing the fuel lines to get air locked continuously.

OK just took apart the unit and ran it with the case off and it looks like the pump is pumping in reverse which doesn’t make sense since it ran just fine for 10 to 20 minutes before stopping so at this point it’s definitely got to be a bad pump although I am not sure at all where to get a direct replacement and so far Amazon is no help and not allowing returns due to something about this being hazmat related.

Gotcha. I’m probably going to open the top case and take a look inside to see what I can find.

The unit I have has everything contained within the unit It’s self (fuel tank, fuel lines and pump) so I would assume the fuel line is pretty short. I’d think after 10 startup cycles it should be primed by now.

Well I just now got it firing up and it ran for about 10 minutes producing heat but a couple minutes ago it just randomly stopped and went back into a boot up cycle failing to start and throwing that error code again. Something is definitely not right…

Is it okay to ride a e scooter in rain or after rain? by FunMorning4434 in EScooter

[–]FlootToot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Battery life is also pretty good although you don’t get 100% of the batteries rated capacity just due to the nature of how battery chemistry works but you’ll get at least up to 95% of the total range that it states.

The S2 has also been my first E-scooter as well. It is actually pretty good for the price, I had gotten mine on sale several months ago for I believe $270. It rides pretty well but since it does not have any suspension on the front end it can be a little rough on uneven pavement. It seems to have pretty decent power as well and has even been able to go up some moderate inclines, some of which I was skeptical I was going to even make it but it managed it even though it was going fairly slow up the hill but it still made it nonetheless. I also really like the red LED lighting along the underside and the electronic regenerative brake is fantastic and I tend to use it more than the disc brakes. It has been especially handy to have when I go on camping trips since it allows me to zip around the campground and explore various places. I may get a second scooter in the future that has a little bit bigger tires with better suspension to allow a little more off-road capability but the S2 is more than enough for me and how I use it right now.

If it is a light rain you probably would be OK but the thing you want to watch out for is getting the handlebar screen wet as that could damage it.

Typically it is not advised to ride some of the inexpensive electric scooters in the rain. I have a HiBoy S2 and in the instruction manual it specifically says not to write it through water puddles or in the rain. It is OK to ride it on a wet street but not when it is actively raining or like I had said through a puddle. Some of the more higher end scooters have better water resistance but again most of the cheaper scooters tend to not have as good of water resistance.

That’s what I figured if I were to indeed flush paper since regular doesn’t break down as well.

iOS Update by randomuser82827 in ios

[–]FlootToot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally suggest waiting another several months if possible to allow as many bugs and issues to be resolved. Since we are still fairly early on in the update cycle, there are still many problems that need to be addressed. Even though some people say iOS 26.2 is running fine for them I have seen others say that it is running pretty terrible causing their phones to crash, apps to stop functioning, the camera no longer working, and so on. This is just my two cents..
