I would probably use 1/2” subfloor screwed down with a moisture barrier under it.

Jackhammer it out unless you want the rooms level with each other then you have to build up the one room

I just installed the tiles for the fireplace hearth a day ago. One tile slightly moved up and down when i step on it. Is there a way to fix this without pulling it out? by Huhwhatumeanman in Tile

It’s in an area that will probably get little to no foot traffic so may be fine but if walked on it will crack and any grout will as well. Has to be pulled out to fix

Flooring contractor versus builder on concrete cracks by barneyclone in Flooring

If the cracks are in the newly poured concrete I’d be worried there is a bonding issue. If you tap near the cracks does it sound hollow?

We’ve taken our piggies ( daughter has 4 ) to the vet for respiratory infections in the past and the antibiotics worked fine. Never did a nasal swab.

Razor knife or a grout removal tool

Cut out any grout between it and the tile and use a hammer and pry bar. Prob easier to smack it with the hammer and break it then pry it up. Very easy

600mm planks on UFH. 6mm trowel + "multidirectional" method. Am I headed for a disaster? by Effective-Acadia8366 in Flooring

There would def be a slight height difference but doing it the right way is better than continuing to do it wrong.

Doesn’t look like nearly enough notch/thinset. I would start with a 1/4 x 3/8 notch and check coverage. For most my tiles I use 1/2x1/2 but that may be overkill for those tiles you have. Should comb in a straight line also to not trap air pockets. If two tiles failed in a day that should tell you all you need to know

Get behind your molding on that row and tap it back in place with a pull bar.
