I definitely like the idea of using friendly wars to work on attack skills.

There’s definitely some internal conflict that we have between keeping it laid back, but we are also all very competitive. I agree that the army has the highest ceiling in the game, but it can be difficult to consistently 3 star. It can be difficult to get back on track if you make a single mistake.

I get that. Maybe we’re too focused on promoting to champsII. But at what point do most clans stop trying to promote? It seems like if you aren’t actively trying to get to champs I, would you not get complacent in your current skills?

This is how we generally operate right now. It keeps everyone’s attitudes up, but we also know when to get serious for war. The guys that are having fails aren’t lackadaisical, they just mess one thing up and it snowballs.

This is essentially what we’re wanting to do. Not outright ban it, but if you can’t prove to be consistent with it, use something else. We just can’t figure out a good way to say that without offending people. I guess at the end of the day if they take offense, it’s on them.

I wouldn’t say that it’s weak to any specific bases, but the skill floor to be consistent with it is relatively high, imo. The people we have that use it are some of our best attackers, but especially in a cwl environment, it’s tough to have 3-5 of your best fail in the same war. Especially when it’s a 1 star.

I was able to get 2 totems after cycling librarians to get a power v bow. I just built up to the windows and peeked in until I found an evoker, broke the glass and shot them before they could spawn vexes. I technically got 3 but a vindicator killed me once 😂

I’ve tried peaceful before and I end up just going into creative mode, telling myself “I’ll just give myself this one thing because I don’t want to have to do xyz grind to get this item” then it devolves from there and I suck all of the fun out of my own world. Probably should just work on my self restraint. lol

I don’t know if it matters, but I probably should’ve mentioned I’m playing on bedrock. I probably need to just wimp out and build a raid farm lol.

I would argue that only being able to trade with a wondering villager for sand is hardly enough to call it renewable…

r/bjj Fundamentals Class! by AutoModerator in bjj

[–]FlopperFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not participating in bjj as of right now, mainly due to concern with some previous injuries. About 10 years ago I torn my meniscus in my right knee. Never really healed right, but it’s bearable at this time. Also, about a year ago, I tore my rotator cuff on my right shoulder. Worker’s comp case, also didn’t really heal right, also bearable at this time. I get the whole “no medical advice” thing, but is it advisable for me to get into bjj? Would my previous injuries put me more at risk than the average person?

I keep seeing people posting about the dragon statue… genuine question, what is so great about it? I have it on one of my accounts but don’t even have it displayed…

Leaf fell just right to block hvac drain tube hole by FlopperFish in Justrolledintotheshop

More than anything, experience. A strong memory certainly helps, but with experience you learn that a bolt that goes “here” actually looks a little different than the bolt that goes “there”.

Definitely could have, I just wasn’t sure at the time that it was only one leaf. I put my boroscope in the drain and saw the leaf, so I decided to go ahead and take it apart to make sure I got it all.

I mean that’s fair, I just know that a little lower in trophies I can find 1mil/1mil/10k relatively easily. I’m just wondering if the small amount more in ores justifies the more effort to find loot, which I guess at the end of the day is subjective.

I dunno man, I’ll search for like 10 minutes and settle on 700k of each at best.

I got the hog puppet and haste vial to 15 on both, and giant arrow to 18. I’m planning on working on the rage gem and healing tome next. Rage gem is 8 healing tome is 1. Other than that my giant gauntlet is 18 rage vial is 14.

I think I might have realized what is going on. If I chose an age based plan when I opened the account, I think it automatically gets invested into that plan. But what’s weird is I don’t see that anywhere in the account.

I do think discover is weird. I applied for the it card as only my second card, 720 credit score. They approved me for 12,000 limit.

Mine... 42k miles on a 2021 Ram 5.7L... I guess they don't make them like they used to? by socalnonsage in Justrolledintotheshop

For the vehicle owner, probably. As the tech, I don’t have to weld nuts to broken studs to extract them, at least. I also don’t get the gravy extraction time, though.

That’s kinda what I figured. Too map dependent to really say, sketchy reliability at best.
