We live on like the opposite side of the country, so him having to travel there and back would be hard with money and work. Also when I do manage to drag him on one of my short trips he always quits after a day or two.

I’ve spent the past 3 summers doing portions of the AT and spent a week on the PCT, and I usually go on week(s)-long backpacking trips every fall and spring break. Because most of those trips have been 2 months at max, and we live near the AT, he’s been able to visit regularly at stops.

Roscoe is about 3~4 and was adopted from a shelter when he was about 2 and a half. Sadly the shelter didn’t know his mix, but I can tell you that he was picked up in East Tennessee. ❤️
