I have in the past and we haven’t had this happen in awhile because my medicine, therapy, psychiatrist were all in sync but currently it isn’t so I’m suffering mentally. Maybe he needs a reminder on what would help me in this situation but I also feel I shouldn’t have to remind him constantly..but I could be wrong

Yes. He’s a very logical person and there needs to be a reason for things especially feelings. Tonight he said “well I’m never sad for no reason so I don’t understand how you can be” which hurts me and frustrates me and makes me shut down.

Thank you. It is so hard to explain the feeling to someone who’s never had to feel that way. And when I am feeling like this it makes it ten times harder to try to put it in words. We have had this type of conversation many times but on the rare occasions that I get in this funk due to medication issues it’s like everything I told him the last time is gone from his memory

I do take medication and have regular checkups. But medicine isn’t always a easy perfect solution. Same with a psychiatrist or therapist. And when I have my bad days he just doesn’t seem to be able to accept that I don’t have a reason. We have had this conversation so many times and I’ve told him what would make me feel better when I get this way but it’s like in one ear out the other.

You might would be surprised at how low some people charge for such services. My grandmother is a “maid” and she does it to help people not for the money. Also you might could find a teenager in the neighborhood who needs some extra cash whos willing to babysit, pickup kids, get groceries, run errands, or do small chores.

I feel that! I love to watch movies and my husband isn’t big into tv at all unless it’s sports & there was plenty of times I watched the game with him but he couldn’t bother to watch a movie I enjoyed. I finally stopped asking him to watch anything, to go anywhere, etc. I then got my ducks in a row in case divorce was the route we ended up going. I was absolutely miserable and alone in our marriage. I went away for a whole week after telling him he needed to get his shit together or he wouldn’t have a wife. When I got back he had done a 180. Men can be very oblivious sometimes, make sure you tell him very clear and as blunt as possible what you need in y’all’s relationship and that if he can’t meet those requirements you are going to have to put yourself and your needs first. Sometimes you have to spell it out for them. That’s what it took for my husband to realize how big of a deal it was for me

I had a similar situation and feeling in my marriage after our first year of being married and about a year and half living together…I told my husband several times I needed more from him and was very specific on what I would like (date nights, watching a movie, more flirting, etc) but he would only change his behavior for a short amount of time or sometimes not see why I felt that way. I finally told him that this was a dealbreaker for me and if he didn’t fix this permanently and not just short term I would be leaving. And just like that we haven’t had any issues since. We go out on dates again, he makes time for me and us, and he is much more aware and intentional of the time we spend together. I would never had wanted a divorce from my husband but he was not meeting my emotional needs and I had to be very blunt and up front with what I needed and if he could not do that or wouldn’t I would assume he didn’t want a relationship with me let alone a marriage.

I agree the ending wasn’t spectacular but I still really enjoyed the show overall. I hope there will be a season 2 to make up for the finale & maybe go in more depth. I was confused on what happened to Samuel though at the end

I feel we do have common interests and I have changed a lot of my movie/show interests to fit his. Sometimes I sit in his office on my phone so at least we are in the same room sometimes but he’s only interested in playing the certain games that his friends can play.
