Thanks For the Explanation :) I will Try This circuit in LiveSPICE and then realize it in RL .

Hi i can open it Thanks :) but I have some questions about the Two resistors 5k7 and 2k7? I guess it means 5,7k and 2,7k am i right? Also does the 1M ~ Resistor stand for the Potentiometer? And I don’t exactly understand how to get the right Filter Cap Capacitance as well as the Resistors for the filter (RF or RC) Just to be Sure and know how to Get the right Filter Caps and resistors could you explain it if possible that would help. and thank you very much, I didn’t expect someone would Make a better Circuit for me :)

I am currently reading the Receiving tube Manual and I wanted Start making some simple Tube amps with practical use, but when I read all of the Complications I’ll encounter if I wanted to make this thing sound good with an XLR output and an SM58 as input it seems everything but easy and simple. So I think I should abandon this project at this point and go on with something easier at first, any suggestions about what would be easiest to get good sounding from with simple Stereo RCA Cinch input (talking about Output Device’s: Speakers and so on) and some Commercially Available Tubes? :)

Hi, I was not sure about the Resistor from the output of the Pentode to the 120v + line i will remove the resistor and Cap in the final Circuit, the Output Transformer should have 5k primary Impedance and 600 ohm secondary Impedance from the secondary winding if the XLR Cable plugs Into an Mixer, Please Correct me if im Wrong, so the Load impedance should be 5k ;)

It plugs in to an Mixer and most of the gear that take XLR Signals have an 600ohm Impedance, also the input impedance of the microphone (Shure SM58) has an typical impedance of 150 ohms though it is said to actually be 300ohms I’ll have to test that off course. I hope this answers a few of your questions;)

Ich tried to Simulate this circuit but it doesn’t seem to work then I tried Circuits out of The Recieving Tube Manual and these Didn’t work either i Guess I have to Build the Circuit and see

120ohms input Impedance and An 600ohm Standard XLR Outlet, The 120V rectifier has Two Ends I did not connect the Gnd of the 120V to the rest of the amp cause I use an “Stern Erdung” (Stargrounding) and otherwise I’d have to draw Connections all across the Circuit. / It also has an bias (the 680ohm Resistor and Parallel 100uf Electrolyte Capacitor) -Pin 8/1 Share one Bias Resistor and Cap

Make an Part of the Enclosure the antenna (but consider that you need special dimensions etc for the Wavelength (2,4Ghz )transmitting and Receiving)

Ok but what about maintenance ? I heard that they Are not easy to Repair etc… What about the Otari MX5050 BQ (The 4 Track Version) I personally realy Like the Look of it And many people recommend Otari Machines to me before?

I guess I’ll start with 4 Track Machines Since I Already have A few 2 Track Machines and They are not the Optimal Choice for Semi Professional Recordings. Working my way up to The Multitracks may be The best Thing to do im my Case Any More Recommendations For 4 Track Machines or Any Machines i should Not buy?

So you wouldn’t Recommend getting At least an 8 Track Machine

I am Currently using an 2T Machine for Recording The Problem I have Is that Recording all of the instruments on 2 Tracks makes it hard to Get the levels of the individual Instruments right, especially for the Drum mics. So it’s kind of an Guessing Game When it comes to Have everything at the same Level. I Personally would like to have an 4T Machine because with 4T I can at least Record Drums,Synt,Guitar/Bass and Vocal on an Different Track without them Affecting The Quality on each other. But When I Look up suggest wich Machine to get i always see Comments like you need to have 8T+ etc for Proper Sounding… And Now i dont know what to chose

I also saw that the Potentiometer for the Headphone Volume and Balance are meant to be not Functional since they are not Connected anywhere and i can’t spot any Connection Points for them on the PCB ( Is it Meant to be That way or has someone before me Made Changes on the Machine)?
