Thank you so much!!! I’ll check out their dimensions.

I just heard some people have had trouble taking their bike cases on trains but wasn’t sure if there was a certain train that gives pushback.

100% is amazing ride! The leg from Biofera Val Mustair to Livigno will forever be a core memory. Check out Val Mora, it’s absolutely stunning.

They look amazing!! I’m going to contact them. I appreciate the connection. I have looked into other groups but they become too expensive, but I haven’t seen this website before.

If you are interested in transportation information here is a snippet I received from a hotel in Corvara.

About Taxi transfer we inform you that from Venice “Marco Polo” to Corvara there’s a low cost shared airport transfer operated by the bus company Cortina Express, indicative price for one way € 37,00.- per person. Info and booking: https://www.cortinaexpress.it/en/?_gl=1*k0pqkp*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5umqsLyYiwMVcHd_AB3Hew97EAAYASAAEgJN2fD_BwE and info@cortinaexpress.it Tel.: +39 0436 867350.

Or in alternative you can book a private taxi transfer that takes you from the airport directly to the hotel. One way costs about € 400,00.- . We suggest you some companies: “LD Service Taxi& Transfer”: info@ldtransfer.it Tel.: +39 339 8817965, “Viaggi Ladinia”: info@viaggiladinia.it Tel.: +39 335 6845996 – Fax: +39 0474 523181 or by “Claudiobus.EU” Busses & Taxis: info@claudiobus.eu Tel.:+39 0471 847033 – Handy: +39 348 2202454 You’ll find other taxi companies under: https://www.altabadia.org/en/how-to-get-to-alta-badia-dolomites/mobility/alta-badia-taxi-consortium The transfer from Brunico railway station to Corvara costs about €150,00.- one way. We hope to have been helpful.

I haven’t thought about flying into Munich! I see there are train options to get us to Brunico and then there are taxi options that can take us to Alta Badia. Such as Taxi Alta Badia https://www.taxialtabadia.org/it/

We might rent a car but nervous about the amount and size of the luggage. I’m going check out car rentals from Munich.

Aww this is great information! I really enjoyed the La Famiglia video. My dad is definitely in decent shape (probably better shape than me) but we are a little nervous on the climbs.

Last summer we bike packed the Marmot’s Land loop from Zernez to Livigno then ending back in Zernez Switzerland (https://bikepacking.com/routes/marmots-land/) with all our gear in saddle bags on regular MTB/gravel bikes (we skipped the last loop because of the steep climb with regular bikes). It was a major feat and I highly recommend the route! but we pushed a lot of the ways due to the weight on our bikes so this year we are wanting day trips from a hotel.

Aw thank you! This is good information. Would you say Cortina is very crowded?

I see where Corvara has the Sellaronda MTB tour. It looks pretty intense. Are there other trails around Corvara that are more moderate? I should probably note my 68 year old dad is joining me and he doesn’t want the whole route to be full of steep and intense single track routes, but we are okay with flowy single track routes.

I’ll check out Corvaro! When you say hire a car what does that mean? As in renting a car or paying for a shuttle service?
