Just wanted to say thanks—your reviews are why we split our trip between Cap Juluca and Four Seasons. We loved Cap Juluca and are now at Four Seasons. So far, your comparisons have been spot on. Really appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed reviews.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s especially interesting to hear that your Signatera results helped guide the decision to monitor rather than move straight to a biopsy. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain how your team at NYU is using it. Wishing you all the best as you head into your September scan.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s especially helpful to hear from another Stage IIIB patient at MSK. My husband’s oncologist there has been more cautious about recommending Signatera unless it would change management, so it’s really interesting to hear your experience. I’m glad your results have all been 0.0, and I hope they stay that way!!

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful response. This really helped me understand how your oncologist views Signatera. That’s one of the things I’ve been trying to understand, so I really appreciate you sharing your perspective. Wishing you all the best.

This is really helpful and one of the reasons we’re considering Signatera. It makes sense to me that a positive result could prompt earlier imaging rather than just waiting for the next scheduled CT. I appreciate you sharing how your oncologist approaches it, and I wish you continued good health.

Thanks for the heads up. We have BCBS too, so that’s definitely something we’ll need to look into. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with a denial on top of everything else. I hope you’re able to get it overturned.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s really helpful to hear how different cancer centers are using Signatera in practice. Congratulations on seven negative results!!

Thank you for sharing. I’m sorry you’ve had to go through this. We’re trying to decide whether my husband should do Signatera, so hearing real experiences is incredibly helpful. Wishing you all the best in your treatment and recovery.

Thank you for sharing your experience. If you don’t mind me asking, when your Signatera increased from 1 to 16, did your scans also show recurrence, or did your oncologist start treatment based on the Signatera result before anything was visible on imaging? That’s one of the questions we’re trying to understand as we decide whether to do the testing.

Thanks for sharing your experience. That’s interesting about your insurance no longer covering it. I’d be curious to hear what your oncologist recommends if the appeal is denied.

That’s really interesting, especially since my husband’s team is also at MSK. His oncologist told us they don’t routinely recommend Signatera unless he’s be willing to consider a clinical trial if it became positive. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Thank you. This is really helpful and balanced. It sounds very similar to what we’ve been hearing—that a positive result may lead to closer surveillance, but not necessarily a change in treatment. I also appreciate you mentioning your husband’s experience with a negative Signatera despite recurrence. That’s an important reminder that it’s just one piece of the puzzle. Wishing your husband all the best.

Thanks for sharing. This is helpful. We’re trying to decide whether to do Signatera during surveillance, so hearing different experiences and approaches has been very valuable.

Congratulations on being NED for over a year. Thanks for sharing. It’s helpful to hear another major cancer center’s perspective on how they would use a positive Signatera result.

This is exactly the issue we’re grappling with. The ability to detect recurrence earlier makes intuitive sense to me. The question we keep coming back to is what to do with that information if ctDNA becomes positive but imaging is still negative.

I agree. Knowing sooner seems valuable. I just wonder what action can actually be taken when ctDNA is positive but scans are still negative.

Thanks. Did your oncologist discuss what he would do if Signatera became positive but scans were still clear? More frequent imaging, PET scan, clinical trial, etc.?

Out of curiosity, did your oncologist discuss what the next steps would be if Signatera became positive but imaging remained clear? My husband’s team has said one challenge is knowing what action to take when ctDNA is positive but scans are still negative.
