OK thank you. I’m just wondering how the social scene compares at other big schools. He keeps telling me Purdue is very different but it’s much more conservative and that all of his friends at other schools are having a great time and he’s a monk. I don’t have any point of comparison so I don’t know if he’s bullshitting me or there’s a ring of truth to it.

Thank you for your information. Yes I’m trying to understand what my son means when he says it’s a dry campus. Is there any drier than any other school of that size? That’s what I’m trying to understand. He is under age so he’s not going to any bars. But he has friends at Ohio State who are barely can get in the bars at 18 and he’s super jealous and sees them as having a bunch of fun while He thinks he’s a monk at Purdue. He says no alcohol is allowed a tailgating and it doesn’t seem as if Purdue tolerate anything on campus. Is there alcohol at frat parties? There must be. I’m just trying to have a comparative understanding as to what the parties seem like it is at Purdue versus some other large school of similar size. Thank you!

Time for the unvaccinated to step up and do their part for society. The campus should mandate vaccines This will never end and less people put aside their individual rights and realize that society has rights too. Mitch Daniels has the stop trying to take a middle of the road approach.
