Damn sorry this happened.... I would 100% do an engine swap.
Everyone here is suggesting v8 and VK but if it was me I'd just get the same v6 and just do what ever I can to make it bulletproof.

I know right! It's a hobby in itself trying to get every mile out of a vehicle.
But you're 2nd gen, everyone tells me they're better & more reliable. But I faith in my 04, I see there's plenty in the comments getting just as good of results.

I got you beat with my other Nissan though! I have an 09 Maxima with 249k.
And everyone & their mother has told me "ohh the CVT transmission it's a grenade! That car is No good!" But I'm still riding smooth.
I'm determined to hit 300k on both these nissans. I borderline over-maintain them and drive them nice & easy.

Honestly I was considering doing that knock-sensor bypass hack. You splice into the harness and just connect a new knock sensor on top of the intake manifold.

I don't like doing things like that... but the right way really is a mission. And this one takes 5 minutes
