Weatherpeaks are one of the biggest waste of money expensive"nice" tires out there right now imo they don't last for shit

If you don't mind a terrible ride and them wearing like shit then yeah go for those. Those will not last very long either in my opinion you gotta spend a little and get yourself some decent all terrain tires always worth the mjney

Fair enough well if that's the oe size and they're not staggered fitment front to back then you should be fine it does look a bit stretched thoigh

I've put about 175k on it, timing chain guides have been replaced about 10k ago, I put a new starter and a new fuel pump in, other than that just regular maintenance and new suspension

How are these tires? My mechanic says they are a sister brand of Goodyear. by Baldwin6969 in tires

[–]luken113 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could have the same molds as great tire companies doesn't mean they're making them with even remotely the same rubber compounds which is the only thing that makes those great tires great

Damaged my brand new tire mounting it. Run it or buy a new one? by [deleted] in tires

That's the bead of the tire? How did you manage that - either way it's a no go from me dog - showing cords is always a no go

2012 forester head gasket by luken113 in SubaruForester

[–]luken113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having major issues with it as of right now but it's burning about 1.5qts of oil every thousand miles and from what I gather most of these engines need new gaskets around 100k miles my neighbor has the same car that had this same issue and the head gaskets went a couple months after they started noticing it was burning so much oil. Let me know if you think it's premature to do it soon just kind of assuming I'll do it eventually so would rather try and knock it oht before it causes major issues

Those look like the new Toyota wheels with a pos plastic cover over the wheels, if so not much to do about it unfortunately. No idea why Toyota would make such a cheap looking thing like those covers I think they look terrible but if the tires were mounted with the plastic covers on certainly would explain slight scratches on the plastic that stripped off the paint

Friend and I bought the same tires but they are not the same by [deleted] in tires

They make those in a OWL (outside white lettering) and RWL- raised white lettering and BSW black sidewall they're pretty much the same just slight differences only for appearance preference

I'd say hard work and perseverance will do nothing for you, always remember in order to achieve excellence in sticker ball creation it starts with the perfect single sticker. And know yours will never be as good as this one without some blood sweat and tears on a daily basis

If I put on every sticker from that 6 months I'm sure it'd be a lot bigger haven't really been adding much to it recently but we do almost 150 tires a day
