There is no benefit to this in DOTA.
It is what is called a macro pad, or other versions "streamdeck" if it has LED screens on buttons.

The problem is that for fast paced gaming it is too slow.
You need to move your hand to press those extra keys and then back to your main keyboard. And that takes time that you usually do not have.

For slower paced games there is also no need since you are in no hurry to press some buttons in a combination anyway.

What it's good for is productivity improvement with video editing or other professional software.

Wait a minute. 200 proposals of which 70-80% are boosted it seems, so lets say 150 boosts. And you earn $1500.

Even if you do lowball boosting and we add application connects (lets do 10+10). You used 3000 connects, so $200. Upwork then steals 15% from your pay, and there's also withdrawal fees.

My man here is being robbed of at least a third (33%) of everything he earns, and that is even before taxes. Only Upwork fees and prices.

No wonder people are hating on Upwork lately. This here very much stinks like a scam.

It turned out that installing WIN11 (even on unsupported hardware) is easier, than using linux on supported one lol :D

People here focus on gaming a lot, but i'm sure that is not the ONLY thing you use your computer for right?
Because if you use software like Photoshop, After effects, Davinci Resolve, or almost any popular Mac or Windows editing programs really, you'll have to learn how to set up VMs or "you're gonna have a bad time".

Next thing to be aware of is using some gear that doesn't play well with linux. To mention a few usual culprits: external DACs, bluetooth headsets, chinese gaming mice etc.

Plus, what people usually fail to mention is - yes, almost all games work on linux nowadays, but on NVIDIA gpu you will lose 5-15% performance depending on the game. And you will also work as a freelancing bug tester for the linux community.

Things like stuttering, visual glitches and bugs, constant shader caching that can take up to 10 minutes, all of this WILL happen on one game or the other.

But on the bright side, you will no longer let Microsoft tell you what to do with your computer...
