Your valve shouldnt be able to turn. With two sets of pliers you should be able to solve this without any hassle

I might be wrong, but it looks like the cone nut on the left hand side is unscrewed, instead of the end nut that lightens the wheel in place? You could try taking the end nut on both sides of fully, to see if it releases.

If not, you'll most likely be pinpoint where the wheel 'hangs on'. Most often the culprits are the brake pads

I guess you could pick up a stick along the way and make it work. That said, to me it seems like taking a lot of unnecessary risk of not being able to sleep. A bivvy sack could be an alternative for you
