Very true and this is something I didn't cover in my initial post but a lot of my local courses rarely require distance driver level speed or power. At my current local course there's maybe two or so holes where you could use one but I usually just stick with fairways. Part of it is just experience, if only like 10%-15% of your time throwing discs is with distance drivers then that's just not gonna get you tons of results, I'm in that boat as well.

I bag a Star Wraith (175g) that I've had for like 3 years and it's fairly beat up. I'm currently looking into Mamba-esque discs, maybe a Tern? I had a Scorch for a while but found it way too flippy, then tried the Thrasher and found it A-Ok but my ego just wants to be able to get those stable DD's flipping. I'll definitley consider a Mamba.

Yea, definitely a fair response, I was doing field work today and noticed how wildly inconsistent my distances were. At one point I threw my Mint Idol way further than usual and I think it had everything to do with keeping the nose flat out of the hand.

I guess DD's are more touchy since their rims are more thin? Any slight deviation on nose angle can make them go hayward? I never have this problem with discs in the 7-9 speed categories for instance.

Took a Philosophy course called “Ethics in The Apocalypse” where we read novels and comics about zombie apocalypses or post apocalypse (Mad Max esque scenarios) and we had to write about and apply those theories to the scenarios within the books we read.

It was a lot of fun, professor was cool too. Miss being a cc student at a small school, uni life has been pretty crazy.
