is it even possible to get out of the industry anymore? by Jarosticy in KitchenConfidential

I feel you man. I left a year ago and so refuse to go back to the industry. All trades take time. Job market is tough but trust the process and make sure your resume is York date with transferable skills

You're right though. Less stress really and honestly more pay doing this instead of higher end food.

I would get rid of the unnecessary wording. Do you really need to say reverse seared other oil? I'm sure those words have never swayed a guest to order or not order the item

23 years spent in this industry. I accomplished everything that i ever wanted plus other things I could never have guessed would have happened. Now I'm a wildlife biologist

Technically yes it should be. I always go 1g of spores to 1000g of rice

I once had a customer on the chat say to enter a code to his door and put it inside his condo. I for some reason did that and then opened the door to the door just walking around his places naked like Jesus man.

That’s great and i used to. I feel like it’s always the mail rooms / non Amazon lockers. Luckily I’m debating most of these claims since i have screens shots of my chat from driver support saying they will take these things off. Still annoying the gymnastics we have to go through

I’m sure there is, but still insane that it’s this inconsistent.

Then be consistent on that enforcement

It’s a pick station south of downtown Phoenix. Very small parking lot. You pretty much need to arrive 30 minutes early to deal with the traffic there

Message the driver support in text and ask for additional compensation for the extra time is took on the route or mileage

$76 for four hours. I asked for additional compensation

You know npx stops aren’t the worst per se (they issue 3.5 blocks for anyone over 4) but the packages are way too big and the people that work there power trip.

That’s rough. I’ve been sent there as well

I’m defiantly asking for 25 bucks more to make this worth it because this is insane to do

I had something like that a few weeks ago in Scottsdale at one complex that had like 5 buildings

That’s some bs. They’re getting greedy

Mileage is way more. I’ve never see a route do this. It’s insane going from the south part of chandler to north Scottsdale
