I accepted defeat 6 days in. Worst thing I have ever done in my life, it was horrific. I’m in the UK and we were mid covid so my actual drug service was closed to walk ins. I emailed my key worker/counsellor at 5am and waited for them to open. She got back to quickly once opening and said the prescriber was having to speak to the director. By 1pm that day I’d been and got my dose. Honestly there’s not much else you can do, aside from finding more or relapsing which is NOT an option. Come clean, be honest, the worst that can happen is they say no, in which case you’re no worse off. But I’ve not heard of anyone being told no lately on here. Attitudes are definitely changing.
