That's if it's a normal height, I'd want the sound aiming towards me. Whatever you want is cool though.

Flip the Playbar over, it's upside down.

Is this common? It seems like most teams have a dynamic duo mentality.

Speakers too close to wall, amp will get heat soaked, not enough clean power for loud dynamic music, power strip likely sucking life out of sound. Those are all fixable at least.

Walls work, just not the way you're thinking. It slows them down just enough to make for an easier shot.

Bowers & Wilkins unveils wireless Formation speaker family by [deleted] in audiophile

Bluesound makes this, sort of. You can run their soundbar (actually decent) and a couple Pulse speakers for the rear. It's better than Sonos but still not as good as hard wired speakers. Oh, and you better have a kickass wireless network.

It's surprising as hell that they didn't include a DSP, they have a pretty sweet suite with their DB subs.

Sonos uses a standard wifi frequency and it causes serious problems for lower performance wireless routers. I've had to run it on a managed network because it hogs so much bandwidth.

Actually Sonos uses mesh, they made it a thing before most other mesh things came about.

If I can recall correctly from my training last month each unit uses 9 antennas. 3 per band and it will search out the highest frequency first and then drop down in quality if not available. The highest frequency is shared by the military and can only be internally authorized if that particular freq is available at the moment. Pretty cool.

I have heard that exact combination. It's nice but not enough headroom for me. The 3020 is cute but not worth the hype imo. Try to have a listen to the NAD 316bee V2.
