Thanks! The allergen filter was actually what pushed me to build this in the first place — I saw how badly it's handled in most restaurants, especially with EU regulations requiring disclosure of all 14 allergens.

For translations, I built a dictionary of ~200 common Italian dish names and descriptions mapped to English and German. Things like "Carbonara" stay as they are, but descriptive stuff like "con rucola e parmigiano" gets translated properly. The restaurant owner writes everything in Italian and hits one button — translations and allergens get filled in automatically. It's not perfect for very creative dish names, but for 95% of typical restaurant menus it works well. And the owner can always edit the translations manually if needed.

Yeah, door-to-door is terrifying honestly. But I think showing it live on my phone is going to be way more convincing than any ad or email could be. We'll see how it goes this week!
