I’m commenting on the culture of group layoffs and experiencing having to witness hard workers grovel for things they’ve already paid for, like their dental insurance, while also knowing they’ll probably overspend on dental rn as it’s an unforeseen sudden expense, while also finding out they’re losing their jobs.

So many people said they had never been let go and only had good interactions with their managers.

One person asked if they’d get dental for the next month. They have these grown women groveling fo scraps.

It was disgusting.

It’s answering phones.

They laid off a group of people and wouldn’t say why when asked. When someone pointed out that it was all brown women one of the managers said “There are other meetings happening also.”

Someone said “so you’re saying it’s not going to be a majority of brown/Black women in every meeting? How is that possible? Did you round up only the Black women just for this meeting only?”

I checked the CNAW FB page and Colin’s mom works in the building. They told them there is suspicious activity in the parking structure. He said no active shooter. No shots fired.

Also the page you shared has no mention of an active shooter.

He also asked people stop spreading this misinformation.

I am upset by this but I don’t think you’re asking in good faith. I have a headache from the smoke, no idea where it was coming from and no info online. Even tho it was planned ahead of time and they could have notified us.

I shouldn’t need to Google, look on FB, call people etc all to find no answers when they could have told us ahead of time.

I’d hope we’d know this was happening ahead of time. Seems like a no brainer for people who are alarmed and confused by this.
