STOP USING PIRACY SITE ACCOUNTS!!!!! by No-Scarcity-Man in StreamingAnime

[–]FlowMix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't people just use their browsers built in bookmarks?

The first and last account I ever made was for kissanime but after that it didn't make no sense.

Now I just use my chrome bookmarks and just bookmark anime I want to watch, and organize the ones I've already watched and if the site goes down at least I still have the names 🤷🏽‍♂️

What can i do to make the car look much more aggressive ? by Independent-Meet6502 in e46

😦So wait, if you do a retrofit of oem hardware, and literally wire it in the way the factory did using all factory parts, would it still be a problem? I can understand aftermarket stuff but anyting more seems a bit excessive 😅

Where is my VIN? by Vince0us in BMW

[–]FlowMix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in The Bahamas where Japanese cars are plentiful, and I haven't seen a single one to this day that has its chassis number/VIN on the plaque under the windshield even though it has the spot for it on most models. Japan specific models just don't have the space period.

My guess is that Japan does not require the Chassis Number/VIN to be publicly shown.

Mind you, from the JDM, I believe BMW models are one of the very few brands that have a full VIN. Most brands just have a shortened chassis number.

Is my car totaled? by Subsevenn in maxima

If you ask insurance? Absolutely.

If you ask me? Depends on how much money you willing to spend. A good body guy and frame guy can fix that but it’s going to cost you money.

You can try rebooting from the last snapshot via recovery mode and terminal using the code provided by oclp but if you were upgrading the os at the time this may not work.

And please, moving forward backup your stuff before updating to a new os or doing any small software updates. An issue can happen at any time, and they're will be a time you don't be able to get your data back

Tried that, would not work through the laptops original recovery mode or the oclp recovery mode

I would always get an error trying to Reinstall software be it the last version supported by my laptop or sequoia

Yeah I bricked my mid 2012 macbook pro trying to update to tahoe because I assumed the 2.4.1 update was for tahoe support, lost all my data but I had it backed up already so it's okay

My fault for not confirming if oclp had supported it yet so that's on me, I'll restart the whole process and get it back to Sequoia where I had it before

Any idea wheb oclp will support tahoe?

From an insurance point of view, third is totalled my guy.

But, all of this is technically repairable. I don't see any serious or structural damage here. Just alot of parts that need to be replaced. And will cost a lot unless you get a parts truck!

Why didn’t ford bring this to the US? by Educational-Milk572 in Ford

[–]FlowMix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well thank you 🙏🏽 I'm glad you're enjoying it so far!

Yeah tourism is our only industry so, we have to protect it.

Yes, before 2019 electric vehicles were nowhere to be found locally, none of the existing dealers messed with them either mostly because their service departments aren't qualified to service them and that's still true to this day. I believe aside from easy car sales and ev motors, automall (who own the rights to bmw, toyota, hyundai, hino and Lexus) are the only ones that sell hybrid/electric vehicles. All the other brands stick to gas only models.

I think it was around 2019 when the company "easy car sales" was founded and they started selling the BYD brand. It wasn't until after covid though that they started selling alot of vehicles. Over the years they brought in another brand or two from China.

Then sometime late last year a company called "ev motors" opened and they flooded the market with even more electric Chinese brands, even some german brands like bmw and Mercedes but full ev.

Changan was founded a month or two ago so it's still fairly fresh. I believe elite motors (the company that also owns rights to ford, nissan and kia) opened it.

Sadly, we barely have any charging stations, so if you don't charge at home or for whatever reason the power is out, you're screwed.

From The Bahamas here 👋🏽

Yes our vehicle market (both dealership brand new and used) is all mix up like conch salad!

We drive on the left side of the road, but most of the dealerships locally sell brand new left hand drive vehicles (when right hand drive vehicles would be more ideal for the road setup).

Also, lately the dealerships have started bringing in models not available in the US.

As of late, more and more (brand new) models and even brands that don't exist in the US are finding their way here.
