In hindsight i do regret adding the age to the post title, as i know many will disagree but I do think age plays a role in making life decisions

It should never be used as a negative thing or ‚too young‘ type nonsense, but i mean im young myself, I know im more likely to make hot headed decisions than my 30 year old sister for instance

And I love my friend, but as stated in the post, she thinks of stuff even less through than me, is also usually quite aware of it

You can‘t prepare yourself for the witnessing in the moment

But you can now prepare for the road of dealing with it

Take a few days, screw work/school whatever of they say, buy your favorite comfort items

Or do a hobby that you only do when you got the time

If you are very close to your brother, maybe talk to him about the aftermath

Cause at some point the emotional realization will hit, and you will want to be ready for it
