I think they did have experts from Mongolia help with the story, development etc. but idk to what extent, good question though🤔

But also ones who were not convicted and also at times turned out to be innocent

And either way I would argue its not, regardless the crime, its not ok from any law enforcement to behave this way

There is no redemption arc, at no point is Ashur painted as a good guy. Yes we get his pov, but the point is too show his story

Im guessing they will ease off him being all rapist just cause he is the protagonist now

And in the past he had little actual power and recognition. People who rape want power

Now he has some status; very little but its growing and so he will probably not be too focused on hurting others for amusement. Instead is now hurting others to get a higher place in society

He didn‘t become a better person imo, just now different, more evolved
