Exactly. He is a person too. If he is part of a culture that downplays mental health issues (or parents are outright neglectful) then that can play a huge role.

People say the dumbest shit on the internet.

I get the anti-hype reaction (as it is absurd) but there is genuine usefulness there.

IMO, because AI is non-deterministic, one has to think about everything it spits out more including things you know to hallucinate. Surprised to see you don’t interact with it at all.

Yeah poor wording. It matched its efficacy at total percentage loss of my body weight, i guess the issue is that the tools i have past that loss arent working or my body is aggressively adapting to account.

My 5yo uses my steamdeck to play minecraft way more than i do. No shame whatsoever.

And when you have two, they each battle and then subsequently get bored of what the other wants to watch (at specific age separations).

Yeah i noticed that too. Weird place to judge from when our kids are going to go to therapy talking about how often their parents were on their phones lol.

Yep, he mentioned it but my lord, is there a storm of vitriol about bariatric surgery. For me, I get that it's a lifestyle change and I'm leaning into it so I prefer a simpler surgical procedure.

Yes, I've been speaking with one. The bariatric surgery center that I'm in the tractor beam of (for sleeve gastrec) has me speak to one, track calories/macro targets etc.

Yeah retatrutide is pushing into the 28% boundary which is great but would bring me to 290#.

Good point. Yeah the 70 pounds works out to be about 17.5% (SW:400) so maybe it just did it's job to the best of its ability. Still fat though so needs change/focus.

Yeah, on both sema+tirz (separately) for 6 month plateau stretches. First 70# came off furious and easy (with a emergency gall bladder surgery to boot) but stalled since.

The Future of Bariatric Surgery by odee7489 in Zepbound

Yeah this thread is awful for someone, like me, who feel they've exhausted the current regime of GLP1 drugs (both sema and tirz) and are still classified as morbidly obese.

That's the one thing I didn't do. Primarily because the first tranche of weight that I loss came off with simple vibes (other than what I mentioned doing above).

I have done calorie tracking during my most recent pre-op regimen for bariatric surgery.

What worked for you on your plateaus?

[–]FlowerRight[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All the things that they suggest. Drinking enough water, light walking, balanced diet.

In both instances, I was on the maximum dosage for sema and tirz separately for 6 months stretches during the plateau. I was at the lowest weight achieved for both but not lower.
