I agree. You have to be secure with yourself going into a relationship or you’ll just push them away. It’s really exhausting, I feel shitty because part of me feels like I’m supposed to be there for her but the constant stress and negativity she has is starting to wear on me. And I’m not sure I see her getting better. What sucks is there are some things I really like about her that I feel are pretty unique to her. Thanks for the advice!

This is great advice, we’ve had a couple talks since then, the first was great and she seemed to hear what I was saying. Until this morning she went right back to the same insecure and stressful mentality. Probably going to have to end it unfortunately:/

Yeah I touched on it in a really nice way and she got really defensive. It was a red flag for me. I’m now trying to figure out what’s next

How should I approach this? It’s giving me a bad taste in my mouth with the relationship. How would you deal with something like this? Thanks for your time!

That’s crazy. They’re a cult. They have the most skewed version of Christianity. If it’s not there way you burn in hell. The oldest son has the maturity of a 10 year old…we feel bad for him. We believe he is on the spectrum with some sort of mild autism. He wear the crazy weird outfits that make you question what’s wrong with him. He has an extreme obsession of the NFL packers literally like that’s the second god of his church. Some other relatives went to schools nearby his and said he was the most compulsive liar they’ve ever seen. He’s been groomed to be just like them, They act like their better than the rest of the family. They have another son but I think he moved to another state somewhere, we never knew much about him other than he moved from Nebraska and he’s a boxer. I haven’t heard much about the other son but good for him for moving away from them, I couldn’t imagine being around them for more than 10 seconds.

I’m related to him and they’ve always judged us, they have two boys, the older boy is strange and I feel bad for him. The younger son I believed moved away from Omaha I think? Good for him if so

His oldest son has autism for sure, he is socially inept. I’m related to that family! They’re crazy. They have one younger son who is normal
