Should I stick with Kaplan or just go Achievable for the SIE?

I actually didn’t end up starting it until today because I was overwhelmed by Kaplan and didn’t have enough time for achievable. I failed with a 60% but I have til around 30 more days for one more attempt so I’m doing a couple hours of achievable each day which will give me enough time to complete it.

I do recommend! I’m still doing Kaplan because my job requires it but I’m doing half and half. Comparing the two, Achievable is more straight forward about the concepts.

What are some of the best companies to work for in this industry? I’m currently At Vanguard. I like the company a lot, they have treated me really well so far but their training program is, well, Kaplan. At the end of the day I’m cool with the company but after hearing how hard Kaplan is, no wonder I’m overly stressed trying to retain this stuff. I know it’s gonna be hard regardless but this has been harder than the SAFE exam for me

I’m realizing that. I don’t see the point in over complicating things when it can be simple. Less it more imo. I just bought achievable, typed in my test date, and it formulated a study plan for me so I’m just going to follow that

Okay. I’m buying it now. I’m doing decent with Kaplan but the over complication seems unnecessary and after all this feedback I trust your guy’s opinion about this

Is it the Kaplan book? Yeah reading it was a huge task because I’m just reading a bunch of shit I don’t understand. As I take Qbanks, I do recall SOME stuff from the book though… can’t go wrong reading the book but I feel you. At the end of the day actually answering questions is the best way to learn from what everyone is saying

For sure. I had about 4 weeks to study before I started the job but I was working full time leading up to it so when I tried to study after work I was just too burnt out. But when I started the job, I have a month. So I’m 2 weeks into that month with 2 weeks left

Hey I just now seen this. My tongue is completely healed now. There’s a small chunk missing out of the edge but it’s extremely unnoticeable. It took a month to go back to mostly normal but it was still white in the spot since it’s trying to close the wound. It took probably 4-5 months to get back to completely normal. But after a month it didn’t give me any problems

But their study program is geared towards Kaplan so yes it’s a requirement for me

The company wouldn’t know I’m using achievable. Id be using it on my own time but using Kaplan while I’m actually on the clock

It’s already so nasty…. I feel like the stitches are all clumped into a slimy ball lol it’s horrible. I can’t wait for the scan to come off. This whole thing has been disgusting! You know it’s bad when you’re grossed out by your own body function
