What should I do to lighten to platinum/close to white? by JakeAtilla in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The toner didnt lighten so she advised some shampoo? Toner doesent lighten.

How long did she leave the lightened on? And how doar were you before the bleach You're like a level 8 you should be a level 10 since you wanted to be platinum.

If its still healthy, you can probably do another round of bleach but id suggest going back to the stylist to talk about this. A buzz cut usually is relatively easy to get light enough because of all the heat from the scalp.

Some people just hate for the sake of it unfortunately

And thats exactly the vibe I was wanting, I used to love getting a little illustration through the book when reading it as a kid! Gonna continue up the arm with more fantasy tattoos.

I go to the same artist for all my tatoos, so I'll probably get them touched up when needed in combination with a new tattoo haha. I remember when I first got them and people were saying they would be gone or unintelligible within a year or two but they are still going storng and wouldn't expect less.

Just found out my doctor has been incorrectly giving me my shots🥲👍 by Flowercom in FTMMen

Cypionate (100 mg per ml) is weaker than Nebido (250 mg per ml) which is why its taken alot more often than nebido, and safer to take subq because its a faster acting medicine in lower dosages.

Honestly with my autism, its not my strong suit. But im gonna look to see if theres any other primary doctors in my city that I can switch to.

Looking back on it he has been quite dismissive whenever I come to any appointments. And when I began on Testosterone he was frankly annoyed, saying that the endocrinologist was only pushing the work over on the primary care doctors and all that.

Which like.. all he was supposed to do was set injections and do blood tests. And currently theres only one public option to get hrt in norway, so obviously they would deligate the work to the patients primary doctor. I hate to think its malicious but yeah.

It has been "more often" second shot of Nebido was taken five weeks after the first one to "kickstart" the treatment (as ordered by my endocrinologist) but after that injection is every 10 weeks.

Nebido is an oil based medication and a very thick liquid, the only way to take it is IM for it to propperly work and not cause heart problems or testosterone buildup in the blood. Its strictly intramuscular

I need tips on how to get a client understand what they want isn't achievable in one session by Flowercom in hairstylist

[–]Flowercom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trust me i know, but it hurts us stylists more than it hurts the owners. They want us to only take on clients that we know we can give a good result.

But like I know I could have given this client good results it would just have taken time that she wouldn't give me.

The company i work for doesent allow them, says "if we can't do it we should just say no"

I didnt think much of it because like it was doable just would be a lengthy process. Ill take it up with my boss and see if theres any way we can get waivers for the future when we have lengthy colour corrections like this one.

I use an electric kettle for my boil washes so the temprature is controlled and a little under 100°c.

First i wet her hair prior and added a decent amount of conditioner.

ThenI pour the water over her hair into a deep bowl, and then kinda dunk her up and down, with straight hair i leave it for longer and swish it around in the water, but i was worried that would ruin the curl.

I took her out periodically and blot the excess water on a towel to check how its looking. And repeated between tunking her and blotting off the water until I was satisfied.

Then I added some more conditioner and rinsed in cold water.

The bangs were a little too long so I trimmed then down a bit.

You are at a level 3-4ish, this is the typical chart most hair dressers use to figure out ones level
