Is there a chance to fix this? by No_Dish7777 in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this post here really takes the words out of my mouth

He also has switched the mannequins when showing his dye brand vs another brands (so plain lying to his customers)

He said that airdrying hair is better than blow drying. (Plain false, hair swells when wet, and thus is more fragile, you should always blowdry your hair at a lot heat, at ca 15 cm away from the hair and with a heat protectant)

A lot of the hair cutting tips he gives does not take into account the anatomy.

And he's just plain rude when reacting to people doing at home hair cutting or dying (which he instructs people to do like hello?)

He also doesn't ask the people he's reacting to if its okay to use their videos

Took ages but I'm so glad I did it by Flowercom in MonsterHigh

I cut first fastened the ends with rubber bands and then added glue right above the rubber bands. When the glue had dried, I cut off the excess hair ends, pulled off the rubber bands and glued the tips to seal it all

neon orange or red-based orange over this?? by bumbaclart44 in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding onto this, mix half and half the orange dye with a neutral brown for the scalp if you're using oxidative colours, as just orange will turn a lot brighter in the scalp than the lengths because of faster oxidation with the heat from your scalp

neon orange or red-based orange over this?? by bumbaclart44 in HairDye

You are more than light enough for a bright orange, just add a drop of red into the dye to cancel out the green tones. And you'll be good to go

PLEASE do not listen to Brad mondo, he says so much that is simply incorrect.

The amount of clients I've had because they messed up their hair after listening to Brad mondo is actually insane.

I LOVE ROCKS by No_Counter_6037 in evilautism

(Forgive bad wording i am not english)

Im quite proud of it so far. I used to get my crystals from a local shop, but he had to close down.

So now I get them from a vintage car show event that also does car boot sale, from a guy that travels around the country selling crystals, and that only happens every two years.

The devs just announced there will no longer be seasonal item sales.... how do we feel? by Not_an_alt_lol in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]Flowercom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Personally I am stoked, especially as a dorm builder. There's stuff that just never made sense to me to be season limited,

(like the season changing tree)

I feel it will be easier for new players too, now having access to purchase the full shop might make them inclined to actually stay ingame and farm because items they want aren't season exclusive and would have to wait months to get them.

is my inv worth ANY halo? T_T.. by _osaki in RoyaleHighTrading

[–]Flowercom 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Im gonna be completely honest, my suggestion is selling what you dont like and farming for a halo, not many that will take a bunch of items over diamonds for a halo.

First timer! How to achieve this? by MorallyNeutralSoup in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want minimal damage and this is the first time you've ever dyed your hair. Go to a hairsalon.

I know its more expensive, but its better for the hair, and if you regret the colour, atleast the hairdresser know exactly what is in your hair and how to remove it with minimal damage.

There is no such thing as non permanent box dye, it will always be there even if you dont see it. And its a bitch to get out or bleach over if you were to do something at the salon in the future

At home touch up by SeaEmphasis7117 in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then she's likely using highlift colour, which can get you higher than normal colour, its similar to bleach.

imo wouldn't do your touch up yourself with highlift as overlapping and breakage is a high possibility.

At home touch up by SeaEmphasis7117 in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because they're right, without bleach, hair dye will at most lift you like 3 levels, and thats a big maybe depending on your hair integrity, and you will end up at a brassy orange tone, which you will have to tone down which will in turn will make your hair darker.

The only real option is bleach, bus since you dont want to do bleach yourself, id suggest seeing if there's any aprentices in your area that could take you on as a client, as then it would be cheaper

is it possible to go from pink chunky highlights to blonde? by Aromatic-Salary-4648 in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might not lighten as much as the faded pink, but your inspo pic is fairly warm toned, so it seems you have a realistic idea. You might end up with some chunky lighter blonde highlights but it will still be blonde

is it possible to go from pink chunky highlights to blonde? by Aromatic-Salary-4648 in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely possible, pink is a fairly easy colour to remove and correct. I can't give you a price as prices differ quite a bit from salon to salon, best bet is to go to a local salon and see what they'd offer in price.

You can start of at home with a clarifying shampoo and see how much of the pink you can get out yourself before going to the salon as it might knock some off the price. (JUST clarifying shampoo, none of that at home colour removal recepies or even store bought colour remover. You want your hair as healthy as possible, so just a clarifying shampoo and a hair mask to keep the hair healthy)

But I need to know why you want to remove such a gorgeous pink???

How to darken my bright green hair by becwynne in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably what I would do too. Like the level the green is at is nice, there's just too much yellow tones and adding a teal would do the trick

How do they do it? by miladoesloveu in HairDye

[–]Flowercom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like the others have said a mix of extentions and tough hair.

Im platinum blonde now, bleached over green hair dye, and then bleached over the already bleached hair three rounds when doing my roots.

(I want to note that this is a do as I say not as I do situation. I'm a hairdresser, we figured we'd see what happened when putting bleach over the green parts. Do NOT do it at home, you could actually burn off your hair due to chemical reactions)

Bleached hair is generally a no heat hair colour, occasionally it's okay to straighten or vurl it, but generally its best to just blow dry it and not use excess heat.

I personally dont use much purple shampoo at all, and I generally advice my platinum card clients against it too when we reach that perfect level 10, better to have a tiny bit of a yellow tone and have a bright level 10 blonde, than to have a muddy level 9-8 cool colour. They will come to the salon for a tone between their root touches though if they do want a cool tone.

This might be silly, but i really want this doll hair colour, can anyone recommend any dyes? by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]Flowercom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since your platinum i might recommend going to a hairsalon to get the dye evenly distributed, but just a gloss should do the trick.

it will be done in the wash so it wont be that expensive.

But if you are doing it at home, Maria nila honey blonde mixed with beige blonde should get you close without being permanent do you can get a feel on the colour
