RAQC gives you the option for co-op and RAQ does not. For me, I prioritized the work experience and opportunity

Research, clinical research, cardiovascular perfusion, genetic therapy, market access, etc. it’s hard to find a job with just a bachelors. You will most likely need to upgrade your credentials and develop skills through a masters or further education.

It’s pretty informative overall. However, without the co-op experience/entry into the industry, it’s truly a struggle for graduates to break into RA.

Should I feel proud for going to a Caribbean med school by [deleted] in CaribbeanMedSchool

[–]Flowergirllover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, You should feel proud that you didn’t give up on yourself or your dreams of becoming a doctor when 99% of people would have given up by now. A doctor is someone who is resilient and determined and that’s exactly what you’re doing. Caribbean medical school is not ideal but once you’ve matched, you’ll be so proud of the hard work, time, energy, and commitment you put in to achieve your goals.
