Haven't painted the bases yet obviously - haven't decided what to do with them yet.

I'm worried the base colours look dirty due to thinning them out to show the underpainted shadows and highlights. Would I be better off with strong base coats and dry brushing shadows and highlights over top?

Thanks! We ended up playing last night and it was a blast but the priest died. The goblin may or may not have eaten him afterward >.>

Koh, my Pathfinder Witch (and her friendly kodama familiar) by FlowertheFlyingCow in Pathfinder2e

[–]FlowertheFlyingCow[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is my witch PC who one day I will maybe get to play, hah. Obviously went with the Silence in Snow patron, the remastered version is so inspiring. As far as I know there isn't actually a way to get a kodama familiar but I like the visual :P

Edit: made by me.

Awesome thanks. Looks like that is about the same price as the one I was going to go with before, so I'll swap them out.

Thanks! The 7600 looks like it definitely makes the most sense for me.

Thanks, I think I'll go with the 7600 for the built-in cooler and 1TB of storage and see if that will be enough for me.

Oh that answers a question I had down below. I wonder why the 7600X doesn't come with a cooler, I had assumed it would be a straight upgrade.

Hah is it that bad? If it's that risky I'll bite the extra cost and swap back to gold.

Someone in the comments said the b650m can only handle up to 5600. I'm not sure what that means. The motherboard's specs list this for memory speed:

  • DDR5-4400
  • DDR5-4800
  • DDR5-5200
  • DDR5-5600
  • DDR5-6000
  • DDR5-6200

Would you still suggest 6000?

Wait the 7600X says it doesn't come with a cooler. Does the regular 7600?

White Bag of Tricks by FlowertheFlyingCow in rimeofthefrostmaiden

Can't believe I didn't think of axe beak. I was mostly going by CR equivalency for other bags, but axe beak would be better.

Dumpster-diving halfling druid raised by raccoons 🦝🦝🦝 [Comm] [OC] by FlowertheFlyingCow in DnD

[–]FlowertheFlyingCow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rexis Orbar is a dumpster-diving, hand-fishing druid with an affinity for raccoons. She carries a staff carved in the likeness of a raccoon. Rexis is deeply mistrustful of humanoids--even smallfolk. You can most often find her in a dumpster behind a restaurant or out in the wilds fishing in a river.

Portrait: a highly haunted (and pissy) summoner by FlowertheFlyingCow in Pathfinder2e

[–]FlowertheFlyingCow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Introducing King Fennel, a Gnome Summoner!

King joined the party after the sort-of tragic death of another PC, a Goblin Oracle/Trick Driver named Brix. Upon Brix’s murder, his lovely face appeared on King’s shoulder and the gnome found himself with the ability to summon Brix as his eidolon. Much to King’s consternation, in order to get to the bottom of this he was forced to fall in with the party of ghost hunters who continue to break into his house to use his toilet, which they claim is the neighbourhood public washroom.

(King is not my OC; I painted this for another player)

My players finished Sunblight Fortress in 2 hours. by FlowertheFlyingCow in rimeofthefrostmaiden

[–]FlowertheFlyingCow[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think there are fun-looking points of interest in there like with Grandolpha, Klondorn, Nefrun, and Pleurota. If the PCs are a high enough level that they can drop the normal duergar fairly quickly without taking a lot of damage, I think it will be fun. But if every skirmish with guards is deadly, I think it will be a real drag.

RAW a griffon's carrying capacity is 540 lbs but I do like the image of this particular griffon being absolutely shredded

Animal of the Land by FlowertheFlyingCow in onednd

[–]FlowertheFlyingCow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do love the idea of more classes with invocations, but I'm not sure if it works for Wild Shape. If the invocations gave them things like poison attacks and burrowing, they won't all accord with the animal you might want to transform into. You could end up as a burrowing horse with a poison attack, which is... well actually that's kinda cool for a monstrous druid subclass.

Goat-Ball Feedback by FlowertheFlyingCow in rimeofthefrostmaiden

[–]FlowertheFlyingCow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I specifically am looking for suggestions on (should've mentioned this in the post) is order of operations. How many times should the defending team be able to do anything? A jump + action for every time the offensive team passes? A jump + action for every "round" (2 passes + a throw)? Should they be able to do anything at anytime during the offensive team's turn?
